Vietnam-based Celadon International is poised to become a major player in the country’s burgeoning hospitality sector following the signing of a series of new Management Agreements for new Hotels and Resorts.

Celadon International was established in 2005 by veteran hotelier Paul Stoll, the former General Manager of the award-winning Furama Resort, Da Nang and a pioneer of tourism initiatives in the fast emerging tourist destination.

Celadon International is a property development and management company specializing in high quality, mixed-use projects incorporating international standard Hotels and Resorts, as well as state of the art Offices, Luxury Apartments, Shopping Malls and Business Centers.

This year Celadon International will open its first three properties; the new 5-star, 222-room, Celadon Palace in Hue, Vietnam’s former Imperial Capital in Central Vietnam and the new 5-star, 144- room, The Imperial Hotel in the popular southern seaside resort of Vung Tau. This Victorian-styled hotel complex will also incorporate 70 luxury apartments which will open in 2010. An Exotica Resort with 100 rooms, bungalows, villas is planned to open in Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan. Exotica is the second tier hospitality brand of Celadon International.

Celadon International has also signed agreements to manage the new Celadon Green Island Hotel, Da Nang which is a 5-star, 300 rooms Convention Hotel and the new Exotica Resort, Da Nang and the Exotica Resort Cam Ranh, all of which will open in 2010.

The company also plans to develop properties under the Chao brand, a modern lifestyle concept focusing on business men and leisure travelers. Chao’s are economically priced and the first of which are planned to open in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in 2009/10.

“We are now in a position to be able to unveil our development strategy and future plans for the company”, said Chief Executive Officer, Paul Stoll. “This year we will open our first three hotels and believe that all of them will be a great showcase for Celadon International and set new standards of luxury hospitality in their respective locations.”

To support its hospitality ventures, Celadon International has also established a successful training system to operate its numerous new properties. “We recognize that well trained people are the “soul” of our success and we are fully committed to providing opportunities for development to the Vietnamese people,” added Stoll.
