The Hotel New Otani Tokyo's Executive House Zen and The Main has joined Preferred Hotels & Resorts collection of luxury properties. The newly opened Executive House Zen (87 rooms) consists of two exclusive floors located in The Main of Hotel New Otani, which is conveniently located near Akasaka-Mitsuke subway station in the heart of Tokyo.

 It is a unique 'Hybrid Hotel' concept built with a philosophy of combining corporate responsibility to the environment, while fulfilling the needs of the most discerning travelers. Utmost privacy and security is ensured for guests staying in the contemporary-designed rooms with its own reception, dedicated staff and Executive Lounge.

The Main (556 rooms) has been entirely refurbished with seismic and ecological upgrades for greater safety during earthquakes, an energy-saving air-conditioning system which is effective in saving energy consumption by 22.7% and reducing C02 emissions by 28%, Hot Water Supplier with Air-source Heat Pump, Recovering Exhaust Heat, and floor-to-ceiling windows with special filters to cut UV rays by 50%.

The effort to use natural materials and colorings such as bamboo, hemp, 'washi' paper and locally crafted ceramics merges seamlessly with contemporary touches and the latest technology. The full height windows allow for magnificent views of the 10 acre 400-year old Japanese garden, the historic Akasaka Palace or the Rose Garden which brings a closeness to nature in the hustle and bustle of Tokyo.
