Sands Macau Hotel to Host Shaolin Masters Performance in November

With over 1,500 years of history and perfected by generations of refinement, the true masters of Shaolin are walking shrines of physical and mental accomplishment. Stories and legends of Shaolin masters and their encounters with the known worlds have sparked fantasies in millions of people around the globe.

In November, The Sands Macau Hotel will host Shaolin Kung Fu – Soul of Shaolin, a unique theatrical production celebrating the philosophy and skills of the martial arts through a powerful storyline, dramatic design, choreography, and breath-taking music.

There will be five shows at 8:30 pm on November 20 to November 23 (there will be an extra afternoon show on November 22 at 2:30 pm). Tickets are available in two categories: MOP $580 and MOP $380 for adults and MOP$480 and MOP$280 for children (eleven years old and under). Show tickets will be on sale on Friday, October 17, 2008.

Shaolin Kung Fu – Soul of Shaolin is a show that breaks all the traditional Kung Fu moulds. Its poignant and touching storyline combined with exquisite ballet and music, blends the best of Kung Fu together with wonderful theater.

Sands Theater is an impressive performance space equipped with some of the most advanced lighting and sound systems in the world. The 660 seats are arranged in a way that provides perfect viewing from every seat in the house and allows the audience an intimate experience.
