Melvin Lim appointed General Manager of Orchard Hotel Singapore

Millennium and Copthorne has appointed Mr Melvin Lim as General Manager of the Orchard Hotel Singapore.

A highly motivated hotelier who is driven by passion, Mr Lim will assume responsibility for all aspects of Orchard Hotel’s operations and spearhead the development of its business in ensuring continued success for this 653-room five-star hotel situated in the heart of the famous Orchard Road and home to well known and celebrated Chinese restaurant Hua Ting Restaurant and Orchard Café.

Mr Lim has a wealth of experience honed from his 15 years of experience as general manager and senior sales and marketing positions at several international luxury hotels and serviced residences in Asia, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Myanmar. He was most recently the General Manager of M Hotel in Singapore.
