Cathay Pacific launches World Pass Promotion in Hong Kong

Cathay Pacific and sister airline Dragonair have launched a “World Pass” fare promotion in Hong Kong. The new promotion which is open for bookings until 3 November, is part of a continuing effort to provide good-value deals for customers in Cathay’s home market.

“World Pass” offers a choice of four ticket bundles starting from HK$7,880 in Economy Class and HK$36,880 in Business Class. Customers can choose any of the following options for either Business Class or Economy Class travel using either Cathay Pacific or Dragonair services.

 The promotion covers more than 50 destinations served by the two airlines.

Cathay Pacific General Manager Sales, Pearl River Delta & Hong Kong, James Tong said, “We are pleased to be able to launch our unique ‘World Pass’ promotion in the Hong Kong market, offering great fares together with the flexibility of flying to a wide range of different  destinations on either Cathay Pacific or Dragonair. ‘World Pass’ was a big success last time we ran it in 2004 and we are sure the public will welcome the promotion once again.”

“World Pass” is one of a number of promotions offered by the Cathay Pacific Group to ensure the Hong Kong public has access to regular special fare deals. Others include “Take-off Special” promotional fares to key destinations and the “Getaway Surprise!” promotion which offers weekly specials on either Cathay Pacific or Dragonair.
