easyJet launches easyJet Plus

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Thursday, 13 March 2008

easyJet, one of Europe's leading low cost airlines, has launched easyJet Plus, a membership card which will give passengers the opportunity to enjoy unlimited Speedy Boarding on every flight without prior reservation.

Customers who purchase easyJet Plus receive a convenient credit card sized membership card which they can simply show at check-in  and at the boarding gate and they will have access to the privileged boarding service of Speedy Boarding on every easyJet flight they take. At selected airports, the card will also allow access to the priority check-in service of Speedy Boarding Plus.

The card is available from 75. The cost of membership gives customers a year's free Speedy Boarding. The more members fly with easyJet, the more they benefit and customers will, on average, start saving money after only five return trips with the airline.

easyJet is also planning to introduce other membership benefits such as discounted car hire, deals on travel insurance and special hotel rates in the near future that will add even more value. easyJet will also offer special rate cards for family members and colleagues.

Peter Gerstle, easyJet Product Development Manager, said, "easyJet Plus is the latest exciting product from the airline to make life easier for its passengers. easyJet Plus means passengers will receive discounted Speedy Boarding every time they fly, saving them both time and money."
