Fly AirAsia X from Australia to Kuala Lumpur from A$199

AirAsia X, the low-cost long-haul airline has launched an Asian Hotspot promotion. One-way fares to Kuala Lumpur from the Gold Coast, Melbourne or Perth start from A$199 and will be valid for sale online until October 27, 2008 or until seats sell out, for travel between February 2009 and July 2009. Airfares include airport taxes, surcharges and fees.

As part of AirAsia Xs latest deal, travellers are urged to use the shopping and sightseeing mecca of Kuala Lumpur as a gateway to the rest of Asia with connecting flights with AirAsia from as low as A$21.

Divers seeking out a new underwater experience can tap into AirAsias A$21 flights from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi or Kuala Terengganu. If youre looking for something thats a little off the beaten track, fly from Kuala Lumpur to Kuching in Sarawak for A$41 or Sandakan in Sabah also for A$41.

Fly from Kuala Lumpur and see the sights of Cambodia with AirAsia for A$101, Vientiane (Laos) A$61, Hangzhou (China) A$121, Hong Kong A$161 or Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam) A$101.

AirAsia X will operate a new direct service from Perth in Australia to Kuala Lumpur from November 3 this year and from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur from November 12.
