AirAsia launches Absolute Low Fares Promotion

AirAsia has launched an “Absolute” low fares promotion in conjunction with its move to set a new benchmark for the airline’s efficiency, reliability and quality with an all Airbus A320 fleet at its Malaysian operations. This major regional campaign covers all domestic and international destinations from six of AirAsia’s hubs primarily in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Johor), Thailand (Bangkok) and Indonesia (Jakarta and Bali).

The “Absolute” low fares campaign features prices between RM1 to RM199. Some of the hottest international destinations included in this campaign where AirAsia flies directly to from Kuala Lumpur are Singapore, priced as low as RM1, Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi, Vientiane for only RM11, and the newly launched Guilin, Melbourne and Perth, price ranges from RM101 to RM199.

The promotion also includes new routes and frequencies such as Hong Kong from Bangkok, from Pekan Baru to Singapore and additional flights from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore which is now 6 times daily. 

The booking period for the campaign will run from until 27 October 2008, for travel period from 9 February – 31 July 2009.

For domestic routes from Jakarta to Makassar, and Yogyakarta, the booking period will run until 27 October 2008 for travel period from 20 October, 2008 – 31st July 2009.

AirAsia has one of the youngest fleets in Asia and is the biggest operator for the aircraft type A320 in the world.
