New Management Team overseeing Upgrades of Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Tuesday, 11 November 2008

A new management team is overseeing a major programme of upgrades to restore Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa to its former pre-eminent position as one of the market leaders on Koh Samui island in southern Thailand.

Located on the Samui's west coast, with spectacular views over Ang Thong National Marine Park, Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa is one of Koh Samui's most well-known luxury resort hotels.

Beginning with new ownership, the management team began introducing progressive changes throughout the resort in the early months of 2008, which have culminated in renewed standards of elegance and service.

Additional upgrades to services and facilities are planned over the coming months, with a team led by Nigel Tovey, General Manager of Baan Taling Ngam, and Greg Seddon, Director of Sales & Marketing. Both are long time residents of Thailand and seasoned hoteliers who have worked with some of the most respected names in Thailand's luxury resorts.

"We are already seeing the results of these upgrades, with a significant increase in business from domestic as well as international sources," Mr Tovey said. "Baan Taling Ngam is definitely set to once again become the most desirable holiday destination on Koh Samui."
