In December the SALA Phuket Resort and Spa, the sequel to the highly regarded SALA Samui Resort and Spa, officially opened its doors for business.

Situated directly on pristine Mai Khao Beach in northern Phuket, SALA Phuket consists of 79 rooms, villas and suites, 63 of which have their own private swimming pools. Inspired by indigenous Sino-Portuguese architecture, the resort design is already earning rave reviews from guests and visitors alike.

The trademark SALA Restaurant and Bar, located beachfront and adjacent to the lap swimming pool, is aiming to become one of Phuket’s culinary gems. This romantic hideaway features exceptional seafood, steaks and western cuisine, as well as traditional  Thai specialty dishes. The coup de gras however, may be the unique rooftop dining and lounge options. “Sunsets will never be the same!” exclaimed Executive Chef Jan Hollister (former Executive Chef at SALA Samui and Poppies Restaurant in Koh Samui).

The first ever SALA Spa offers a variety of single and couples treatment rooms, and also features a sauna, steam room, gym, and salon.

Additional features and facilities at the resort include an attractive Lobby Bar, Library, Gift Shop, Activities and Tours Desk, business traveler services and complimentary WiFi connections throughout the resort.
