Special Weekend Rates from the Grand Mercure Hongqiao Shanghai

The new 5-star Grand Mercure Hongqiao Shanghai is offering special weekend rates of just RMB 818 net a night until 30 November, 2007.

The special rate at the hotel in the centre of Shanghai's Hongqiao business district is valid for Superior Rooms each Friday, Saturday and Sunday through the promotional period.

The promotion allows for early check-in and late check-out subject to room availability, along with complimentary internet access throughout the hotel and free use of the Gym Center.

During the China's 'Golden Week' public holiday, Grand Mercure Hongqiao is offering the Golden Week Package valid from September 29 to October 7. During this period a Superior Room (two nights stay minimum) is just RMB 788 net per night including one complimentary breakfast buffet and special set dinner per couple.

Opened earlier this year, the Grand Mercure Hongqiao is conveniently located for both downtown Shanghai and the international airport, and close to local restaurants, bars and shopping centers.

With 496 spacious rooms and luxury suites, it offers a choice of F&B outlets including Paninis, serving a fast and healthy international menu; Asian-inspired buffet dining at Asiatique in the atrium; and nightly entertainment at the Stir & Shake bar.

Hotel facilities include a fitness centre, massage and flexible venues for meetings.
