George H. Mandler-Maxheim, SVP & Director Southeast Asia region at
Asia Noble House, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Thailand's Incentive and Convention Association
- TICA. As Convention Committee representative in Thailand, Mandler-Maxheim is the only German member of this official body
and has a two year period of office.
TICA is a non-profit organization established jointly by the government
- the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Thai Airways International - and the private sector in 1984. TICA's function is to aid the growth of Thailand as a
preferred destination for meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions.
TICA members in the private sector include hotels, tour operators, professional convention and exhibition organizers and contractors,
convention centers, advertising agencies, local attractions, entertainment establishments and various travel industry suppliers.
