Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Tuesday, 23 October 2007

Zenath Real Estate, one of UAEs leading property development companies and a part of the Khalid Abdullah Al Ghurair Group, has intensified its expansion program with a new four-star hotel development at the heart of Dubai's business and shopping district.

The AED 200 million hotel located on Salahuddin Road in Deira is being developed in collaboration with ETA Star and US-based hospitality group Super Host, whose portfolio includes several Hilton Hotels in the US. The hotel's central location and proximity to transport facilities, being just a few meters away from the upcoming Salahuddin Metro Station, provide guests easy access to key areas in Dubai including the International Airport.

"In addition to providing Dubai's burgeoning hospitality sector with a fresh supply of world-class hotel rooms, Zenath believes the new hotel will provide a modern accumulation to Dubai's key business and shopping hub. The hotel's accessibility to important destinations, including transport facilities and main areas such as Riqqa Road, Dubai Creek and the 'Hotel Corridor', have also been considered in determining the location of the project. Moreover, we have enlisted a powerful cast of partners to ensure all aspects of development are satisfied, from construction to hotel management," said S.M. Sadique, Group Director, Zenath Real Estate.

Completion date of the new hotel, which will be located opposite Toys r Us and Reef Mall, is slated for August 2008. The hotel will have a total of 170 rooms and 16 suites along with three restaurants and a coffee shop.

Other facilities include an health club, banquet halls, business centre, and shops, which all meet all standards required for a 4 star hotel as stipulated by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.

Recently, Zenath announced the launch of a string of new hotel, residential and commercial projects in the UAE worth AED 2 billion. In the pipeline are 10 luxurious hotels across the country, a shopping mall in Dubai Investments Park, and several commercial and residential projects around Dubai.
