A collection of some of the best leisure and meeting hotels and resorts in Asia Pacific will be coming
to Sydney and Melbourne in early August, as InterContinental Hotels
Group brings representatives from InterContinental and Crowne Plaza properties from across the region to meet the industry.
Breakfast and evening cocktail showcases will be held in Sydney on Tuesday 7 August and
Melbourne on Thursday 9 August, providing an opportunity for agents, wholesalers and
meeting organizers to see what's new, what's coming and gain insights in to current and future
trends at IHG.
IHG will highlight its upscale and luxury offerings in Hong Kong, Mumbai, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur,
French Polynesia and China at the events, while attendees will have the chance to win flight and
accommodation packages to InterContinental and Crowne Plaza hotels and resorts across the
region at each event.
"While I'm sure the industry would prefer to visit each of these fantastic hotels, we're doing the next best thing and bringing some of our best
hotels and resorts to them. That said, we're excited at the prospect of sending a handful of lucky participants to visit these fabulous
destinations, as well as looking forward to catching up with industry colleagues in Sydney and Melbourne at the same time," said IHG
regional director of sales and marketing Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific, Karin Nielsen.
