Stamford Plaza Auckland Reopens after $10m Refurbishment

WORLDHOTELS member Stamford Plaza Auckland is celebrating its re-opening after a four month closure and an extensive $10 million dollar refurbishment, offering a special Corporate Traveller rate of NZ$175.

Along with the special re-opening rate, the 5-star hotel is also offering guests a NZ$10 drink voucher for use at the stylish new Knights Lobby Bar for a limited time in October.

In the heart of the city's central business district -- just a stroll from sparkling Waitemata Harbour, Viaduct Village, shopping, theatres and nightlife -- the refurbishment has introduced a contemporary "international flavour" to Stamford Plaza Auckland capitalising on new technology and service that should add significantly to the guest experience.

In addition to the new design of the hotels 282 rooms and 19 suites, refurbishment has been extended to include a new grand entrance foyer, along with a new lobby bar and two new restaurants and the refitting of the hotels popular ballroom and conference rooms.
