General Manager movements at Accor Hotels in Asia

Accor Asia Pacific has made the following appointments witih its Asia hotel network:

Blandine Cressard has been appointed General Manager for both the Hotel Ibis Siam Bangkok and the Hotel Ibis Huamark Bangkok. Accor’s first two Ibis hotels in Thailand are scheduled to open January 2006. Blandine joined Accor in 1989 working with Novotel Paris and she later moved on to positions in West Africa and the United Kingdom. She relocated to Thailand in 2002 and was most recently Revenue Analyst at the Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square.

Scott Davies has been appointed General Manager at the new Novotel Citygate Hong Kong, which is scheduled to open in early 2006. Scott joined Accor in 1995 and held senior operations roles in Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane later moving to the Mercure Resort Great Keppel Island as General Manager. Scott was most recently General Manager of the Mercure Hotel Perth.

Gilles Tourenne is the new General Manager of the Embassy Place Phnom Penh in Cambodia. Gilles joins Accor Asia Pacific after two years as General Manager of Hotel Ibis London Barking. He started his career with Accor in 1994 and has held a variety of senior positions in Paris and Wales.

Dominique Albero is returning to work in Asia from his most recent position as General Manager, Hotel Scribe Paris (managed by Sofitel). Dominique has been with Accor for over 12 years originally working in France. He first relocated to Indonesia in 1997 and later held senior positions in Myanmar and Thailand.

Valerie Diard has been named General Manager, Mercure Johor Bahru. Valerie originally joined Accor in 1991 with the Mercure Grand Roubaix France and later worked in Thailand and Laos. Since 2001, she has held positions at Accor hotels in Indonesia and the United Kingdom, most recently as General Manager, Hotel Ibis Stratford London.
