Swantje Apaiso to be Blue Canyon Country Club’s Wellness Consultant for November 2006

Travel News Asia Thursday, 28 September 2006

Blue Canyon Country Club’s wellness consultant for November, Swantje Apaiso, hails from Germany and was schooled in economics before making a switch to a career in holistic health. Intrigued with how individuals seem to be plagued with problems and not having the ability to cope with their problems, she started learning about meditation and psychology with monks in Thailand, Germany and America in an attempt to help individuals find peace.

Beginning in 1996, Apaiso found a profound teaching on ways and method to cope with the problems taught under the name of Buddha’s teachings in Suan Mokkh, a temple in Thailand. Her one-year stint in Thailand fueled her interest and desire to further her learning in Germany, America, India and the United Kingdom.

Apaiso’s work has since brought her to various parts of the world including Bangkok, London, America and Germany. In the month of November, guests and members of the Spa at Blue Canyon Country Club will be able to benefit from her healing touch which activates the blood circulation in skin tissues and muscles and encourages metabolic processes. She also specializes in Chi Nei Tsang, an ancient Chinese Taoist art of massage that results in deep relaxation of the underlying organs and the whole body. Chi Nei Tsang does not only work on the physical level but also on the energetic and emotional aspect.

Swantje Apaiso will be conducting a free seminar and workshop on "Reflexology, Healthcare through the feet" and “Chi Nei Tsang” every Saturday in November for guests and members.
