Tiger Airways launches new Flight Combos service

Tiger Airways is launching a new online booking system known as “Flight Combos” where travelers can book two flight sectors under a single reservation, for example Darwin to Singapore to Phuket.

The Flight Combos booking system will start with flights between Darwin and four other destinations - Bangkok, Phuket, Ho Chi Minh City and Manila (Clark). Bookings for the service start today, 28 August 2006, for immediate travel between Darwin and Bangkok while travel between Darwin and the other three destinations will start from 29 October 2006.

Some examples of the Flight Combos Fares:

Flight combo 1 Darwin - Phuket from S$49.98
Darwin - Singapore from S$39.98
Singapore - Phuket from S$9.98

Flight combo 2 Darwin - Bangkok from S$59.98
Darwin - Singapore from S$39.98
Singapore - Bangkok from S$19.98

Flight combo 3 Darwin - Ho Chi Minh City and Manila (Clark) from S$69.98
Darwin - Singapore from S$39.98
Singapore - Ho Chi Minh City from S$29.98
Singapore - Manila (Clark)

“Passengers should allow sufficient time to clear the necessary immigration and check-in at the Budget Terminal in Singapore so as to make the onward flight,” advised Tiger Airways Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer, Rosalynn Tay. “What’s more, passengers who have at least 5 hours in transit have the option to participate in the Free Singapore Tours organized by the Singapore Tourism Board by registering at the Singapore Visitors Centre in Terminal 2. In addition, all Tiger Airways passengers who register for the tour will receive a food voucher which they can use at the Budget Terminal.”
