The
120-room Mafraq Hotel in Abu Dhabi has appointed Ali Salih as its new general manager.
Ali Salih steps into the role from his position of hotel manager at Mirfa Hotel which is managed by the same group, Danat Hotels & Resorts. He
opened Mirfa Hotel in May 2003, recruited all the staff and was in full charge of everything including monitoring the overall performance of all
departments and preparing the budget.
Ali Salih
has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to his joining Danat Hotels and Resorts, Salih has held several
key positions in the UK, such as house manager of Fraser Suites Kensington, and general manager of Brondesbury Park Hotel.
The Mafraq
Hotel is located only 10 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport, close to Abu Dhabi's two
major Golf Courses, and a 20 minute drive to the Abu Dhabi City centre, and just 1 hour from Dubai.
Mafraq Hotel is managed by Danat Hotels & Resorts, a division of the National Corporation of Tourism & Hotels based in Abu Dhabi.
