Korean Air launches Flights to Istanbul, Turkey

Korean Air has launched thrice weekly regular flight services between Seoul (Incheon), Korea and Istanbul.

Korean Air, which has been offering charter services between the two cities since April of last year, will operate an A330 aircraft on the route. Flights depart Incheon International Airport on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 5:25 p.m. and arrive in Istanbul at 10:50 pm local time. Flights depart Istanbul on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays at 12:20 am and arrive in Seoul at 4:10 a.m.

Korean Air was awarded the route rights from Koreas Ministry of Transportation to offer service between Turkey and Korea in March of this year after seeking the rights to operate the service for the past two years.
