Malaysia’s Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel Wins Best 5-star MICE Award

The Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel was the recipient of "The Award for Excellence for Best 5-star MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition) Hotel" at the prestigious Hospitality Asia Platinum Award (HAPA) 2005 at a gala ceremony held recently in Kuala Lumpur.

Speaking on winning the award, the Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel’s Group General Manager, Mr. Jean-Jacques Kiefer said, “This MICE award is a testimony of the hotel’s continued commitment in providing event organizers and delegates a world-class experience that’s uniquely Sunway”.

This Academy Awards-styled hospitality industry event was organized and managed by World Asia Publishing (WAP). The Award for Excellence for Best 5-star MICE Hotel is a validation by an independent panel of auditors and hospitality industry specialists of Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel's successes in the competitive MICE business in Malaysia.

The Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel effectively met the strict criteria set by the award organizer in the areas of MICE event's innovation and offerings, service delivery, diverse facilities option, integration of services and facilities, customer response methodology, processes and work-flow.
