Thai AirAsia launches Inaugural Three Day Travel Fair in Bangkok

Thai AirAsia is hosting its inaugural travel fair from today, 23 June, to 25 June 2006 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok.

The Thai AirAsia Travel Fair 2006 will offer an array of very special low fares deals and special holiday packages from as low as THB 199 ( for domestic destinations in Thailand), and THB 399 (for international destinations). The first 1000 daily visitors registered throughout the 3 day fair period, will be entitled to a special promotion of THB 9 fares to any of Thai AirAsia’s destination.

Thai AirAsia presently operates daily domestic and international flights to Thailand, Malaysia, China, Macau, Singapore, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

To date, more than 60 local and international exhibitors, including local and international travel and tour organizations, travel agencies, hotels and resorts, ferry services and rent-a-car services have confirmed participation at the fair.

The one-stop travel fair is aimed at rewarding Thai AirAsia’s travelers with valued deals for their air travel and vacations, as well as provide the travel and trade community with an avenue to promote their value-added product and services.

Thai AirAsia’s Chief Executive Officer, Tassapon Bijleveld said, "Thai AirAsia aims to establish a platform that will serve to drive and stimulate travel demands that benefit the industry. The fair is also in part, to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported Thai AirAsia to make us Thailand’s largest low fare airline."

Visitors to the inaugural fair can also expect the chance to win free flights, travel packages and be entertained by special performances at the fair.
