Tiger Airways offers Sin$ 24.98 Flights between Singapore and Krabi

Travel News Asia 17 February 2006

Tiger Airways has launched sales for its Krabi flight services for the travel period from 26 March to 25 October 2006. Fares start from Sin$24.98 one way - excluding taxes and fees.

The airline first launched services between Singapore and Krabi last year for the Northern Winter schedule (30 October 2005 – 25 March 2006) and is now extending its operations to Krabi for the Northern Summer Schedule (26 March – 28 October 2006), making the Tiger Airways service between Singapore and Krabi a year-round service.

“With Krabi now a year round destination, we expect visitor numbers to increase substantially this year. There are many tourist attractions and marine activities at this beach paradise for visitors that keep them coming back to Krabi’” said Tiger Airways CEO, Tony Davis.

With the additional 40,000 seats available for travel between Singapore and Krabi, Tiger Airways now offers more than 300,000 seats for the summer season between Singapore and Thailand.

“We have been getting tremendous support from the Tourism Authority of Thailand as well as the hotel and retail operators in Krabi to give visitors a truly wonderful travel experience. We hope more visitors will take advantage of our low fares to Krabi and enjoy the warm hospitality of the Thai people,” added Davis.

Tiger Airways has four flights weekly (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) on the Singapore-Krabi route.
