Thai Airways International to Serve Special Menu to Celebrate His Majesty the King of Thailand’s Birthday

Thai Airways International will celebrate His Majesty the King of Thailand’s Birthday on December 5, 2006 by offering special inflight menus, prepared with ingredients from the Royal Projects Foundation, Doi Intanond. These menus are specially prepared for passengers traveling THAI’s international flights departing Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport during 4-6 December 2006.

THAI will serve special inflight menus to passengers in Royal First Class, Business Class, and Economy Class, as follows:

Royal First Class

Royal First Class passengers will be served Jin Hua Ham with Royal Project Passion fruit Sherbet / Smoked Royal Project Trout Salad as first course, followed by a main course of Panfried Salmon Maitre D’Hotel. Special yellow-colored sweets such as Pumpkin Custard in Mini Japanese Pumpkin from the Royal Projects Foundation will be carved individually for each passenger and Lavender-Pumpkin Ice Cream Cake will be served as dessert.

Business Class and Economy Class

First course featuring Jin Hua Ham / Smoked Royal Project Trout Salad, followed by a main course of Panfried Salmon Maitre D’Hotel. Pumpkin Custard will be served as dessert.

The special inflight menus help to promote Thai ingredients and herbs worldwide under the vision of “Charm of Thai Cuisine” and also help promote products from the Royal Projects and local agricultural products to people on an international basis.
