Stamford Hotels & Resorts Switches to WW GDS Code

Travel News Asia Wednesday, 13 December 2006

Stamford Hotels and Resorts, one of the largest owners and operators of landmark luxury hotels in Australia and New Zealand, has switched its GDS reservation code to become part of the WORLDHOTELS chain code “WW”.

The adoption of WORLDHOTELS' “WW” Chain Code instead of its own separate GDS code “YS” results from a strengthening partnership with the global sales, marketing and distribution company.

It also follows the recent renewal of Stamford’s successful partnership with WORLDHOTELS.

Stamford Hotels and Resorts comprises ten premium quality hotels representing a total of 2,300 rooms.

“Our successful alliance with WORLDHOTELS combined with continuing investment in developing our hotels shows our commitment to remaining Australia’s leading luxury hotel group” said Mr Allan Hui, COO of Stamford Hotels and Resorts.
