Meritus Hotels & Resorts
has appointed Eddie Kwan Chew Khin as Vice President – Finance.
Mr Kwan has more than 25
year’ experience in the hotel industry. He has an MBA and holds professional accounting qualifications and memberships from
accounting and chartered secretarial professional bodies from the UK.
His career in the hotel industry started in 1981 when he joined Beaufort International Hotels as Accountant. He received a few promotions during his 13-year tenure with
Beaufort, and he was the Corporate Controller when he left to join Hotel
InterContinental Singapore as their pre-opening Financial Controller in 1995.
He took up another challenge a year later with Conrad International Centennial Singapore, where he joined as their pre-opening Financial Controller. He left as their
Director of Finance prior to joining Meritus.
