VisitBritain appoints PR and Communications Manager

VisitBritain has appointed Emma Paris as PR and Communications Manager for South East Asia. Based at VisitBritain's regional headquarters in Singapore, Emma is responsible for all communications activities in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

“We are thrilled to welcome Emma onboard,” said Alex Mawer, Manager, South East Asia VisitBritain. “With her travel and tourism experience, I’m confident Emma will spearhead creative and effective communication campaigns around the region that showcase Britain’s core values of depth, heart and vitality.”

Emma Paris, PR and Communications Manager for VisitBritain South East Asia, commented, “My role will focus on communicating Britain as a vibrant and refreshing destination by showcasing the multitude of experiences it offers. One of first things on my agenda will be to kick start activities in Thailand and Malaysia.”

Emma has already been busy, and has just launched Best of Britain - a new travel planning website offering exclusive airfare and accommodation packages to Singaporeans visiting Britain. Emma has also appointed Grayling to handle public relations activities for the tourism organisation in the South East Asia region.

In addition to PR, Emma is taking an active role in managing VisitBritain's CRM activities with a particular focus on pan-regional viral campaigns and growing the VisitBritain database.

Formerly at Fulford Public Relations, Emma has been in Singapore for three years.
