Tiger Airways set for Singapore - Ho Chi Minh Flights

Travel News Asia 31 March 2005

Tiger Airways is all set to launch flights between Singapore and  Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from 1 April 2005. This is the sixth city in four countries that Tiger Airways now flies to.

“Our inaugural inbound flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore is also 90% filled with eager travelers keen to explore Singapore. We are delighted with the response from Vietnamese customers who are finding great value in our service," said Tony Davis, CEO Tiger Airways.

“Tiger Airways is keen to develop tourism and business traveler traffic between Singapore and Vietnam by offering attractive low fares not offered by full service airlines serving the two cities. We demonstrated our long-term business commitment to Vietnam when we set up our local office in Hanoi in advance of the award of the landing rights by the Singapore authorities,” added Mr. Tony Davis, chief executive officer (CEO), Tiger Airways.

In addition to Tiger Airways flights to Ho Chi Minh City, Tiger Airways flights to Hanoi begin 7 April.
