AirAsia to launch flights to Phnom Penh and Chiang Mai

AirAsia is to launch two new international routes; Chiang Mai in Thailand and Phnom Penh in Cambodia. Daily services to Chiang Mai will commence on 20 October, while daily flights to Phnom Penh will begin 1 November 2005. Both flights will depart from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

To celebrate the new routes AirAsia is offering 10 000 seats to each of these new destinations from RM49.99/THB 599 one way to/from Chiang Mai and to/from Phnom Penh from RM49.99/US$15 one way. The special introductory fares are available from 28 September to 12 October 2005, for travel up to 25th March 2006.
