Domina Hotels & Resorts appoints François Droulers as Vice President Director of Development and Acquisitions

Domina Hotels & Resort has appointed François Droulers as Vice President Director of Development and Acquisitions.

In his new position, Droulers will lead the growth worldwide of the Domina Hotels portfolio with responsibility for negotiating new management and leasing agreements and finding strategic and quality hotel properties in key locations all over the world. Droulers will be based in the Milan headquarters and will report directly to Francesco Borrello, chief executive officer of Domina Hotels & Resorts.

Prior to joining Domina Hotels, Droulers was responsible for development, acquisitions and feasibility study for new hotel projects for RES Co. He was also a featured speaker on hotels and resorts design at the Milan Domus Academy. Prior to that, Droulers was responsible for oversight of all business development and acquisitions for Villa d’Este Group. In addition to his experience in development, Droulers spent 5 years in hotel management with Thistle Hotels and Villa d’Este Group. Droulers graduated at the European Business School of London with a BA in European Business Administration.

Domina Hotels & Resorts currently operates over 39 hotels based in 14 different countries over 3 continents and intends to continue its worldwide expansion by reaching 250 hotels in 10 years time. Within the past 12 months the group has opened new properties in countries such as Egypt, Greece, Italy, Poland, Slovenia and Tunisia. Two weeks ago, the Domina Inn brand entered Latvia with the opening of its first hotel in Riga. Other properties opening soon include:

- Domina Nuweiba Hotel & Resort, Nuweiba, Egypt, 127 rooms, opening in June 2005 
- Domina Harem Hotel & Resort, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, 262 rooms, opening in June 2005
- Domina Makadi Bay Hotel & Resort, Hurgada, Egypt, 600 rooms, opening in September 2005 
- Domina Inn Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt, 190 rooms, opening 2nd quarter 2006
- Royal Media Milan Hotel & Towers, Milan, Italy, 315 rooms, opening 3rd quarter 2006
- Domina San Petersburg Hotel & Towers, San Petersburg, Russia, 70 rooms, opening 1st quarter 2007
- Domina Poznan Hotel & Towers, Poznan, Poland, 244 rooms, opening 1st quarter 2007
- Domina Bratislava Hotel & Towers, Bratislava, Slovakia, 200 rooms, opening 1st quarter 2007
- Domina Prague Hotel & Towers, Prague, Czech Republic, 175 rooms, opening 1st quarter 2007
- Royal Media Vienna Hotel & Towers, Vienna, Austria, 350 rooms, opening 1st quarter 2007
- Domina Heliopolis Hotel & Towers, Cairo, Egypt, 412 rooms, opening 2nd quarter 2007
- Domina Novate Milanese Hotel & Towers, Novate Milanese, Italy, 250 rooms, opening 3rd quarter 2007
