Dusit Hotels & Resorts
has appointed the TravelOptions Group in Hong Kong (also overseeing Singapore) and Best of Asia Travel Marketing in Australia
as its new regional sales offices, effective from 2006 onwards.
With the appointment of Aovo Network AG in Germany (also covering Austria and Switzerland) in August
this year and the expanded geographic reach of the UK office (Axis Sales & Marketing Ltd) to include Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Spain and Italy, Dusit will
significantly expand its presence in regional markets. The office in Japan (Hotel Networks Japan) remains the same.
Keith Blott, Vice President-Marketing & Sales, Dusit Hotels & Resorts, explained, “Dusit and Royal Princess have completed, or are presently undergoing, major
renovations in many properties in Thailand and overseas. With these improvements, and the recent opening of the new D2hotel in Chiang Mai, it is only fitting that we
should also expand the numbers of sales offices in Asia Pacific and Europe in order to increase our market penetration, especially in the MICE (meetings, incentives,
conventions & exhibitions) market.”
