Meritus Hotels & Resorts
has appointed Mr. Han Chan Juan as Senior Vice President – Asset Management.
Mr Han’s association with the hotel industry started when he joined the Marina Square hotels in 1987 as Financial Controller/Company Secretary of Aquamarina Hotel
Pte Ltd (Marina Mandarin Singapore), Marina Bay Hotel Pte Ltd (The Oriental Singapore), and Hotel Marina City Pte Ltd (The Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore). His active role
as owners’ representative in monitoring the three hotels’ operations and liaising with hotel management companies gave him an in-depth understanding of the industry.
His last appointment was Senior Vice President, Asset Management with Plaza Pacific Hotels & Resorts
International.
In his role as Senior
VP – Asset Management, Mr Han will support the President of Meritus Hotels & Resorts in monitoring the performances of the hotels in the group as well as in guiding
the hotels’ management teams in their efforts to achieve better overall improvement.
