Visa Asia Pacific Launches exclusive Golf Program for Premium Cardholders

Visa Asia Pacific's Platinum and Visa Infinite cardholders can now enjoy exclusive golf benefits including complimentary golf at up to 16 clubs in nine Asia Pacific countries, and access at special prices to 100 golf clubs across 25 countries worldwide. The program begins today and will run until 31 December 2006.

Visa Asia Pacific’s General Manager for consumer products, Rahul Khosla said, “The new Visa Infinite and Visa Platinum Golf programs have been designed to serve the needs of the fast growing premium consumer segment. Interest in golf is booming around the region and is especially popular among Visa’s premium cardholders. The golf programs are an excellent vehicle to provide valuable benefits and highly competitive privileges to high net worth customers.”

Under the complimentary golf program, Visa Infinite and Visa Platinum cardholders can enjoy complimentary green fees at selected clubs when they bring two paying guests on weekdays or three paying guests on weekends. Their guests also benefit from special rates that are better than walk-in guest rates. The complimentary golf program has 16 participating golf clubs across 9 markets - Australia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.

In addition, Visa Infinite and Visa Platinum cardholders will now have access to 100 golf clubs worldwide across 25 countries in Europe, United States, South Africa and Asia Pacific. This includes access to prestigious courses such as St. Andrews in Edinburgh Scotland, Pebble Beach in California and Pinehurst in North Carolina, USA. Visa Infinite and Visa Platinum cardholders can benefit from up to 35% savings on green fees on weekdays and Visa Infinite cardholders can also enjoy weekend access to 20 selected golf clubs worldwide. Guests of Visa Infinite and Visa Platinum cardholders will also be able to benefit from special rates.
