Ty Collins
has been appointed as General Manager of the new Marriott Executive Apartments, Yeouido Park, Seoul, scheduled for opening on April 6, 2006.
Prior to moving to Seoul, Ty was Director of Rooms at JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa, Thailand, from May 2002. His career started in Austin, Texas, USA, where he
worked in room service, followed by banquets at the Embassy Suites. He then moved to Front Desk at the Renaissance Hotel in Austin Texas, before relocating to
Hawaii in 1999 to the Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort, as Front Desk Supervisor then Manager.
