Hertz Australia offers A$20 Discount for Virgin Blue and Jetstar Passengers

Travel News Asia 17 February 2005

Hertz is offering Virgin Blue passengers A$20 off the cost of car rental during March, April and May, and Jetstar passengers A$20 off during April and May 2005.

To qualify, customers just need to present their Virgin Blue or Jetstar boarding pass or a copy of the Hertz “$20 off” advertisement from the airline’s in-flight magazine.

The offer is valid for most vehicles in the Hertz fleet, and applies for a minimum rental of three days. Bookings must be made in person at a participating Hertz counter.

“Leisure travellers often decide to rent a car once they arrive at their destination,” said Wayne Burgoyne, Director of Sales and Marketing for Hertz Australia.

“This initiative makes that choice easier by offering Virgin Blue and Jetstar passengers an immediate discount of $20 off the price of their Hertz car.”

This offer is valid for car rentals by Virgin Blue passengers at selected Hertz locations throughout Australia between 1 March and 31 May, 2005, and for Jetstar passengers between 1 April and 31 May, 2005.

Advance reservations are not required or possible and the offer is subject to vehicle availability and terms and conditions apply.
