Visa and Zuji Forge Asia Pacific Online Travel Partnership

Travel News Asia 17 October 2005

Visa International Asia Pacific has entered into a regional partnership with ZUJI which aims to encourage and reward travellers who use their Visa cards to pay for trips booked on ZUJI.

Visa has seen its e-commerce volumes grow by more than 250% in the past three years, and online travel bookings in Asia Pacific are anticipated to reach US$25 billion in value by 2007.

Visa International Executive Vice President, South and Southeast Asia, Mr. James Murray said, “Highlighting the Visa brand, and bringing unique travel offers to Visa cardholders via ZUJI, makes both strategic and practical sense for Visa. Already one of the world's most recognised and trusted brands online, our Verified by Visa security initiatives allow Visa cardholders to shop with total confidence when they book travel on their Visa card from ZUJI. Apart from the peace of mind of knowing the online transaction is verified, Visa cardholders also now have the tangible benefit of unique access to travel deals on ZUJI, which will be reserved exclusively for Visa cardholders.”

To celebrate the new partnership, www.zuji.com.sg is offering Visa cardholders the exclusive opportunity to purchase flights to Langkawi on Malaysia Airlines for only SGD128, from 17 October till 30 November 2005.
