Cornell’s Center for Hospitality Research partners with Sabre Holdings

The Center for Hospitality Research at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and Sabre Holdings have formed a new partnership, under which Sabre Holdings will sponsor research projects conducted by Cornell’s research fellows and Scott R. Brodows, Chief Operating Officer, SynXis, will represent Sabre Holdings on the Center’s Advisory Board. Sabre Holdings becomes the Center’s thirteenth partner and 43rd corporate affiliate.

“This partnership expands our research relationships with leading organizations in the global hospitality industry," said Gary Thompson, hotel school professor and executive director of the Center. “We are excited about this new partnership and look forward to working with Sabre Holdings.”

“The hospitality industry is very important to Sabre Holdings. Sabre Holdings’ companies, including Travelocity, Sabre Travel Network, and SynXis, assist in the sales and marketing of 54,000,000 room nights annually,” said Eric Speck, Chief Marketing Officer, Sabre Holdings. “We look forward to working with Cornell as its research team continues to discover new insights and improve practices that benefit the industry.”
