Jetstar Asia offers Special Fares for VISA Cardholders

Travel News Asia 11 January 2005

Jetstar Asia has launched new promotional fares exclusively for VISA cardholders. The initial promotion, which runs for 4 weeks, guarantees a greater number of seats at lower prices without any blackout dates when paying with a VISA card on-line, through the Jetstar Asia call centre, or via select travel agencies.

Until February 2nd, one-way airfares on Jetstar Asia from Singapore to Taipei, Hong Kong and Pattaya will be S$99, S$70 and S$40 respectively. One-way airfares, from Hong Kong and Pattaya to Singapore, which are also valid through February 2nd, are priced at HK$360 and Bht1,000 respectively, while the one-way fares to Singapore from Taipei, which are valid until January 20, are priced at NT$1,999 each.

"Our initial feedback has shown that VISA is an extremely popular card of choice for Jetstar Asia customers," said Con Korfiatis, Jetstar Asia COO. "By partnering with a market leader like VISA, we're able to provide even more seats at better rates to more customers, and that's exactly what we strive to do with every Jetstar Asia flight, every day of the year."

Jetstar Asia now operates twice daily round trip flights between Singapore and Hong five times a week and daily roundtrip flights between Singapore and Taipei and Singapore and Pattaya.

All Jetstar Asia aircraft are brand-new Airbus A320s that come equipped with charcoal-grey leather seating. All customers are provided with assigned seating and a 20kg baggage allowance, and a broad range of snack and beverage items are also available for purchase on all flights.
