The
InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong has appointed Mr. Peter Pollmeier as General Manager.
A seasoned hotelier with extensive global experience, Mr. Pollmeier has spent more than 30 years working in the hotel industry. Mr. Pollmeier, a German national, has
held management roles in China, Australia and Mauritius for respected groups such as Sun International (now One&Only Resorts) and Sheraton Hotels. The last 15
years of his career have been spent with the InterContinental Hotels Group where he acted as General Manager for various hotels within the group, including
InterContinental Shenyang.
His most recent posting was with the Crowne Plaza
Shenzhen as General Manager.
Mr. Pollmeier is a graduate of the Detmold Hotel School in Germany, and he further enriched his hospitality expertise with several courses at Cornell University.
