Grand Mercure Phoenix Yogyakarta opened its doors on Friday, 14 May 2004. This elegant boutique hotel has been designed to highlight the cultural heritage of Yogyakarta, and the service aims to provide guests with a relaxing and personalized environment.

Completely renovated, the historical building, reflecting a colonial style that blends effortlessly with the laid back atmosphere of old Yogyakarta, will transport guests into a world of hospitality, while maintaining traditions and charm of the past with all the facilities and comforts of a modern hotel.

Each of the 143 rooms, including 10 suites, offer private balconies and are furnished in a style reflecting modern comfort and local details. The “Paprika” Restaurant features an open kitchen concept and specialises in Asian fusion cooking.
