6. STR Reports US Hotel Performance for November 2015
In year-on-year results, the U.S. hotel industry’s occupancy increased 1.1% to 59.4%. ADR for the month was up 3.2% to US$115.44, while RevPAR increased 4.3% to US$68.60. Among the Top 25 Markets, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida, reported the largest increases in occupancy (+9.0% to 65.9%) and RevPAR (+18.7% to US$68.81). ADR in the market was up 8.9% to US$104.49.

According to data compiled by STR, the U.S. hotel industry reported positive results in the three key performance metrics during April 2014. Overall, the U.S. hotel industry’s occupancy was up 3.2% 65.7%, ADR rose 4.0% to US$114.67, and RevPAR increased 7.4% to US$75.30.
8. United Airlines and Air China Expand Codeshare Agreement
United Airlines and Air China, both members of Star Alliance, have expanded their codesharing agreement to cover an additional 22 routes in the China and U.S. markets. With the expansion, United and Air China will codeshare together on more than 110 routes, offering customers one of the most comprehensive route networks between the U.S. and China.
