One of the leading national banks and newest MasterCard licensee in Myanmar, Asia Green Development Bank Limited, is now accepting MasterCard payments cards for cash withdrawals at its ATMs throughout the country. The move is timely given the upcoming 27th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) which will be held in Naypyidaw, Myanmar’s capital, from 11 to 22 December 2013.
4. MRJ’s Static Strength Test Aircraft Transferred to Strength Test Station
The static strength test aircraft of Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) was transferred on Wednesday from the final-assembly factory (Komaki South Plant of MHI's Nagoya Aerospace Systems Works located in Aichi Prefecture) to the strength test station to start preparations for the static strength test. The test will start this summer 2014, after preparations have been completed.
5. JAL Saving Fuel with New Lightweight Cargo Containers
Japan Airlines is now using 480 new lightweight cargo containers on its international routes. The new cargo container weighs 58 kg, which is 41 kg less than the previous aluminum container the airline was using. The new container is made of synthetic resin in a honeycomb structure that gives it more durability than the aluminum one.
6. Air Canada to Launch Flights Between Toronto and Rio de Janeiro
Air Canada is to launch non-stop flights between Toronto and Rio de Janeiro on 11 December 2014. The year-round flights to Rio will complement Air Canada's existing daily non-stop service to Sao Paulo.

Rosewood has expanded its portfolio of pentahotels in Europe, with the opening of the 180-room pentahotel Paris, Charles de Gaulle Airport. The hotel offers guests free WiFi, 12 meeting rooms and the latest in conference technology gizmos. There’s also a gym, internet corner, business center and complimentary airport shuttle service.
8. Swiss-Belresort Opens in Sanur, Bali
Swiss-Belhotel has expanded its portfolio of hotels in Indonesia with the opening of the Swiss-Belresort Watu Jimbar in Sanur, Bali. The 306-room four-star property is the first Swiss-Belresort to open in Indonesia.
