The Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills is currently refurbishing all 285 guest rooms and suites, along with corridors and elevator lobbies. The project, led by Irvine-based Wimberly Interiors, is scheduled for completion by the end of 2017. The hotel will remain fully operational during this process.

5. Wyndham Partners Hospitality Properties Trust; Adds 20 Properties to WHG Portfolio
Wyndham Hotel Group has signed an agreement with Hospitality Properties Trust (HPT) to brand 20 hotels with the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham brand names. As part of the agreement, four of the hotels will become Wyndham Hotels and Resorts properties and 16 will become Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham hotels.
6. Ed Fuller to Leave Marriott
Ed Fuller of Marriott International, is to retire from the company on 31 March 2011. Mr. Fuller, as president and managing director of International Lodging, led Marriott’s growth outside the continental United States from 16 hotels to more than 550 today in more than 70 countries. Approximately 175 additional hotels are currently under development outside the US.
7. British & Irish Lions Appoint Chairman and 2017 Tour Manager
Tom Grace has been appointed as Chairman of the British & Irish Lions Board. Mr. Grace succeeds Gerald Davies who had chaired the Lions Board since September 2010 and was previously British & Irish Lions Manager for the 2009 Tour to South Africa.
8. O’Driscoll to Captain British & Irish Lions in Perth
The 23-man British & Irish Lions team to play Western Force at Patersons Stadium, Perth on Wednesday (5 June) contains eight new Lions and will be captained by Ireland’s Brian O’Driscoll. The starting XV does not include any of the players that started against the Barbarians in Hong Kong last Saturday.
