GKN Aerospace has entered into a 4-year Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contract with FMV (Swedish Defence Material Administration) for the provision of comprehensive support for the GKN Aerospace RM12 engine, which powers the JAS 39 Gripen C/D fighter. This contract follows on from an initial 5-year RM12 PBL agreement and is expected to be worth approximately US$250 million.

GKN Aerospace has signed a three year contract extension worth over US$175 million, covering the technical product support, maintenance and parts supply for the Gripen RM12 Engines used in Sweden, Hungary, Czech Republic and Thailand.
