4. G650 On Schedule for Entry-into-Service in 2012
Gulfstream’s long-range G650 has moved several steps closer to its anticipated certification later this year after completing tests of its fly-by-wire system, engine inlet compatibility and operation in hot weather, among other tests. As of 5 October, the four aircraft in the flight-test program had accumulated more than 2,077 hours on more than 626 flights.
5. Gulfstream G650 Receives Provisional Type Certificate
The Gulfstream G650 has received its provisional type certificate (PTC) from the Federal Aviation Administration, clearing the way for the company to begin interior completions of the long-range business jet in preparation for customer deliveries in the second quarter of 2012, as originally planned.

The order adds to the three G650ER aircraft already in service and available for charter with Qatar Executive and is part of a 30-aircraft sales agreement announced in May 2015 between the two companies. The order makes Qatar Executive the largest dedicated G650 operator in the world.
8. Gulfstream G650ER Certified by FAA; Deliveries to Begin Early
Gulfstream’s flagship G650ER has been certified by the Federal Aviation Administration clearing the way for G650ER deliveries to begin. Gulfstream expects to deliver the first fully outfitted G650ER business jets to customers before year-end, ahead of the projected 2015 delivery date.
