COMAC (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China) today rolled out its very first C919 narrow-body aircraft. The C919 is the largest commercial airliner designed and built in China to date. Total orders for the C919 are now up to 517 from more than 21 customers.

BOC Aviation and COMAC have signed a Launch Customer Agreement for 20 C919 aircraft. BOC is the 11th launch customer for the C919 which now has a order log of 235 aircraft. This is the latest LCA signed since the C919 entered into the Detailed Design Phase at the end of last year.
4. Elbit Systems Wins Comac C919 Contract
Elbit Systems has been selected by the Shanghai Avionics Corporation (SAVIC) to provide the Kollsman Enhanced Vision System-Superior Performance (EVS-SP) for the COMAC C919 aircraft. The contract enables future operators of the C919 to select the EVS-SP through the aircraft manufacturer.

Ryanair has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with COMAC to participate in discussions on the development of the COMAC C919 aircraft for Ryanair, which would be designed to carry up to 200 passengers and should be available from 2018 onwards.
