7. Delta Orders 10 A330-900s; Defers Delivery of 10 A350s
Delta Air Lines has ordered 10 additional Airbus A330-900 aircraft, expanding its A330neo order book from 25 to 35 aircraft. Delta and Airbus have also agreed to defer 10 previously ordered A350 XWBs to 2025-26. Delta currently operates 11 A350-900 aircraft and expects a further four in 2019-2020. Delta’s A330 fleet stands today at 42 aircraft.
8. Scoot to Launch Flights to Berlin, Germany
Scoot has unveiled plans to launch flights to Berlin, Germany, its second European and third long-haul destination, in the second half of 2018. The four-times-weekly Singapore-Berlin flights will be operated with Boeing 787 Dreamliners, subject to regulatory approval.
