Tourism Solomons has confirmed that the second annual ‘Me Save Solo’ tourism exchange will take place in Honiara on 5 July 2019. As in 2018, visiting buyers will be given the opportunity to stay on after the event to participate in a series of ‘beyond Honiara’ educational study tours visiting Gizo and Munda in the Western Province, Marau Sound and Malaita.

6. Malaysia Starts Charging Departure Levy on All Flights Leaving the Country
The Malaysian government started charging a departure levy on flights departing Malaysia, effective 1 September 2019. For destinations within ASEAN, the departure levy is RM8 for economy class and RM50 for business class and business suites.
7. TAP Air Portugal Launches Daily Flights Between Porto and Munich
TAP Air Portugal has launched daily flights between Munich and Porto. TAP's flight is scheduled to leave Porto at 11:30 and touch down in Munich at 15:10. The return leg from the Bavarian capital is timed to leave at 15:55 and land in Porto at 17:45.
