Airbus has delivered India’s first fully customised, ACH145 helicopter to Mr Adar Poonawalla, CEO and Executive Director of Serum Institute of India, the world’s largest vaccine manufacturer by doses. The delivery marks the entry of the twin engine helicopter into India’s private and business aviation market. The helicopter will be ready to fly in India by the end of January.

Cebu Pacific, a Manila-based airline, has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321neo. Cebu Pacific has ordered 32 A321neo aircraft directly from Airbus, and will receive another five A320neo leased from Dublin-based Avolon. These aircraft will support the carrier’s expansion and fleet renewal programme.

Scoot has unveiled plans to launch flights to Coimbatore, Trivandrum and Visakhapatnam in India. Flights to Trivandrum will operate 5-times weekly and are scheduled to commence on 7 May 2019. Flights to Coimbatore (5-times weekly) and Visakhapatnam (3-times weekly) will start on 27 October 2019.
