105. Changi Airport Handled 62.2 Million Passenger Movements in 2017
Singapore Changi Airport registered a strong performance in 2017, handling a record 62.2 million passenger movements (+6.0%) for the year with 373,200 landings and take-offs (+3.5%). Airfreight throughput also grew by 7.9%, crossing the 2-million tonne mark for the first time, to reach 2.13 million tonnes for the year.

111. Air France and Qantas Sign New Codeshare
Air France and Qantas have signed a new codeshare agreement. Available for booking from 5 June for travel from 20 July 2018, Air France will add its code to Qantas flights between Hong Kong and Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and between Singapore and Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
112. Delta Unveils Plans to Launch Mumbai Flights
Delta Air Lines has unveiled plans to launch nonstop flights between the United States and Mumbai, India, next year. Delta also intends to expand its existing codeshare relationship with partner Jet Airways to provide seamless connections to other destinations within India, subject to government approvals.
